Early-Career MethoDS Exploration

To cultivate a robust toolkit as I entered the UX field, I spearheaded a series of end-to-end independent projects on mobile and web apps that mirrored real-world product lifecycles.

The case studies in this Research Foundations section served as the basis of my initial portfolio, demonstrating my early grasp of user-centered design principles, rapid prototyping, and the synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data into actionable design requirements.

Grant-Funded Research & Peer-Reviewed Publication

This section also features an overview of my Master’s thesis: a multi-year ethnographic study of Russell City, California. This work was awarded two competitive grants to facilitate a deeper longitudinal exploration, ultimately resulting in peer-reviewed publication. This project demonstrates my expertise in complex qualitative methodologies, social-historical analysis, and the ability to synthesize high-level research into scholarly, impactful outcomes.
